Welcome to the City Prayer BreakfastThe City Prayer Breakfast (CPB) is an annual event at which Christians based in the City of London gather to pray for the City. It is the only event of its kind that takes place in the City. The 2010 Prayer BreakfastWe will hold this year's breakfast at St. Helen's Bishopsgate on Wednesday, 10th November, from 7.30 am until 9.00 am. Our main speaker this year will be Ken Costa. Following university in Johannesburg and Cambridge, Ken went to work for an investment bank in the City, where he has worked for over 30 years. After serving as Vice-Chairman of UBS Investment Bank, where he advised international corporations, Ken was named as the Chairman of Lazard International, joining the bank in October 2007. Ken is the Chairman of Alpha International, which promotes the Alpha course - an introduction to the Christian faith attended by over 2 million people in the UK and 10 million worldwide – and Church Warden of Holy Trinity Brompton. Ken is also the author of the book, God at Work, from which the God at Work 6 week discipleship course has been established.
