mages of the City of London

Welcome to the City Prayer Breakfast

The City Prayer Breakfast (CPB) is an annual event at which Christians based in the City of London gather to pray for the City. It is the only event of its kind that takes place in the City.

The 2007 Prayer Breakfast

This year's breakfast was held at St. Helen's Bishopsgate on Thursday, 11th October, from 7.30 am until 9.00 am.

(We thank St. Helen's for hosting the prayer breakfast this year due to the renovation of the Old Library at the Guildhall. We hope to return to the Guildhall in 2008.)

Our main speaker this year was Jeremy Marshall, CEO of Credit Suisse's UK private banking business. He has been with Credit Suisse for 19 years and has held a variety of senior management positions in private banking and investment banking, based in Switzerland, US and UK. He was educated at Cambridge University and INSEAD. Jeremy is a committed evangelical Christian and is an active member of St Nicholas Church Sevenoaks and St Peter's Church ('The Barge') Canary Wharf. He is also a Trustee of the London Theological Seminary and Friends International. He is married to Jeanette and they have three children.

Futher information about this years event is available on the event details page.
